Android emulator and VM acceleration on OS X

When I was trying to run an Android Virtual Device on Mac OS X, following message was displayed:

HAX is not working and emulator runs in emulation mode

and emulation was very slow.

The solution is here: the Intel Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager must be installed manually.
